  1. Interesting. I was under the impression it was caused by listening to dubstep.
  2. I just sold all my midi gear a couple months ago. Maybe I will tool around with some old beats.
  3. I was under the impression that Traktor copied tracks to it's folder and made the tag changes there while leaving the original file unchanged. Makes me glad I don't worry about tags except for within Traktor itself.
  4. That is the last "stable" version. The update to 2.5 is found in the update center which installed on your hard drive.
  5. I think I will be stickig with Win 7 64bit for the foreseeable future. IMO it is the most stable version since Win 98 and has a small footprint when doing a custom install.
  6. That is awesome! Big ups brother.
  7. Nice! And they are washable. That makes me want that case.
  8. I have a Cooler Master v8 on my i7 and one thing to consider is a filter on your intake fan. The condensor fins collect dust starting form the inside, so, depending on how long you use this machine, you could ruin your cooler within 2 years. Just something to consider.
  9. I'll look a little more into it. I stopped my "research" at google. If I can make it work great. I guess if it's freeware I could get over my Soundforge prejudice.
  10. Sounds like a ground/neutral issue. The harmonics caused by the fans in your PC and any wireless signals i.e. bluetooth mouse/keyboard, cell phone will amplify as it works through your system. Plug your speakers into a different ciruit than your PC and it should solve your problem as well. If you have any electrical experience you could install dedicated circuit for your PC with a super neutral which would also fix your issue.
  11. Apparently it is a violation of some laws or some shit to use Lame with commercial software (not that I really care) and Sound Forge can only use it's Fronhaufer encoder. From what I read though it is equally as good or better than Lame. Who knows.
  12. Excellent write up. I wonder how Sound Forge compares to Lame. I have been using it for years for recording and converting.
  13. I will up in Charm City dropping off some speakers and digging crates of 80's-90'2 house at my friends place. I should look into when/if somethingis going on. Indeed I will.
  14. Maybe it's just my immediate area surrounding DC. I would drive a couple hours for something like in a heart beat.
  15. I miss watching guys throw records around during routines. I guess that along with digging died with the digital age. Seems pretty weak sauce to see a guy go through 3 minutes of record time because the samples have been arranged. Not that I won't do it, but seriously, I'm bad and these guys are supposed to be good. I think I will break out all my 60's and 70's vinyl now. I have been inspired.
  16. Ah. I see. LOL It definitely was one of those; either you love it or hate it games.
  17. Far be it for me to criticize anyone in a DMC event, but why do people juggle with that 1/32 kick drum roll? It may be my inexperience, but I think it sounds like garbage.
  18. How did it ruin it? It was a separate game. It had no effect on the online or single player action.
  19. One of my favorites as well. I love dropping Walk into my sets on unsuspecting e-tards!
  20. It depends on how the tracks were produced. if there is a lot of swing in a track or tempo changes it goes all trainwreck on you.
  21. I must live on the wrong side of the pond. We don't have any kind of vinyl swaps anymore. Some pretty dope tunes in there.
