  1. Holy Shit, I just watched Slyce's 1999 USA Finals set and the battle sentence juggle at 4:42 was insane. It was the most beautiful arrangement of random sounds I've ever heard. His Wild Wild West Juggle was icing as well!
  2. I'm gonna have to got with Eric for my vote. Those tears on the "it's" and the tazers were simply too fresh.
  3. Yay! Good entries all round guys, I'm currently defending my last battle victory.
  4. Haha, besides my over use of autobahn variations, the best example of biting Rafik's style would be the California Roll sounding scratch at 1:24 I get a lot if influence from D-Styles, and Tigerstyle along with Rafik.
  5. Too right. I could make vague excuses about never being a hardcore scratcher, more a jack of all trades master of none, didn't have the Internet or anyone to teach me back in the day and all that... But the truth is that I've probably had turntables for 4-5 times longer than Cirkut and I'm not even half as good as him on a good day with the wind behind me! I'm just not that good. Stop it, you're making me blush. :3
  6. Huzzah, another win! Time to tell my mom about it.
  7. Just had a nice short session. Fun stuff guys!
  8. Dear God Eric, stop that this instant.
  9. I'm so good, no one even wanted to enter!
  10. Lol Vekked, I saw you comment on that post and I knew you were going to question "cue point juggling". It's the future man! Haha.
  11. I have the D-Styles Tablecloths with the plastic slipsheet included.
  12. I've been going at it and it's a little more natural for me, but getting those clicks is still hard for me. I can do a somewhat fast two click left hand on the fader, but I have trouble doing a slow two click flare, specifically getting the first sound. It's so frustrating because I know I can cut perfecly fine right on fader, but I've already gotten used to right on record to get those dope phrases.
  13. Awww shit, I would have totally tried to make it! Edit: If it's for sure monthly, I would definitely try to make the next one. Austin isn't too bad of a drive!
  14. This is one of my favorite example of this, partly because Radar was the first and it's on vinyl. Now for the actual performance, I think it's all questionable with his usage of tones but I think with the likes of a MIDI deck or controlling cue point notes would be better. My favorite part of this routine would have the the the drumming break down at 5:14.
  15. JFB. I believe he's actually starting a Canada tour right at the moment. You vs. JFB would be sick.
  16. I think you'd balance the tonearm (set the thingy to 0) and balance it with the regular counter weight. Once it's floating, then move the slider to whatever your cart suggests. That's how I would do it.
  17. I drive a 1998 Honda Civic Ex with 185,000 miles (shitload of kilometers for you guys ).
