Klever losing to Plus One in 2001 in the DMC Worlds. I appreciate Plus One’s innovations and technicality in his routine but Klever’s overall structure and flow of his was ace. I think Plus One’s “Still Number One” sticker loop bit is what edged him the win.

Ehhhh Dopez's was uploaded 8 months ago!
I was hoping no one would notice ;-) looks like I’ll have to dust off my turntables and record something !

Hahahahaha just saw this ! I'm glad y'all enjoyed the battle :-) Flip Flop was definitely busting my balls and to be honest I was kind of drunk during the whole thing !! Also big ups to Symatic, it was amazing saying hello to you and the Skratchlords !!

I've been using the cheap $12 eBay N44-7 for the past few months and honestly they track pretty decently.
I am using them with Serato but I'll play the occasional vinyl record and they still sound alright. The biggest thing I noticed is their output is pretty low compared to a real N44-7 and it's a bit bulkier but I got the pair for $24 shipped so I can't really complain.
I do admit, buying a pair of JICO styli would be better.

Damn, I actually need a Qbert stylus but the price hasn't dropped in the US :-(
Still $57.99USD.. I'd rather buy two M44-7 styluses lol

I appreciate the mention! My top 5 would be (in no order):
Ruck
Toadstyle
D-Styles
Muzzell
IQ
Honorable mention to Enfoe, scratching with him makes me want to quit lol

I've been using the same pair of Butter Rugs for a few years now, they're pretty much my go-to. I do like the Dave's Tablecloths and the Beat Junkies Turntable Helper mats though.

All the full sized Innofaders like the OG, the Pro, the Pro 2, PNP all use the thick Rane-style cap with the big stem. The Mini series of Innofaders use a standard Vestax-style cap with the thin stem. Hope I helped out!

For beats there is the Tablebeats app, you can just hook up your phone to the speakers and start cutting. I'm thinking about getting a Numark PT01 Scratch with the Jesse Dean fader myself. Texas Scratch League makes really dope 7 inch scratch records, but they sell out fast, so you gotta be quick to get one.
Theres some good info on portablism gear and modding options here: http://djlab.net/2017/03/21/portablism-gear-guide/
Anyone have any experience with the Stokyo Kutter? How does it compare to raiden?
I've actully owned both and the Stokyo Kutter is vastly better. It is reversible and also you can make the beat/line in either bypass the fader or be the second channel. Both faders are still going to have a little "pop" because the fader's aren't powered but the Kutter is phenominal. Very sharp and much better than the Raiden.

Finally something I'm good at! @dope1200 :-)

Lmao, thank you all! I've been met with a little hate on this particular routine - I think it's from all the button pushing. To be fair, I'm just trying to bite Ruck's "put it on 45 and put cues on the snare to scratch it back" style hahaha
-
Holy fuck! What a dope file! You've got that Q flow down my friend, I wish I could cut like that. Also the ambidex cuts sound sharp!

That's a Tigerstyle beat, off of his break record "Zero". I've got it on wax, I can record it and send it to you if you want!
-
Hey guys, just wanted to show off again like I always do ;-) Here's a quick file from last night, enjoy y'all!

Yeah for sure. I'll be in touch when I got them ready for shipping.
Hey man, put me down for one with a fader attached shipped to the USA, I've got a PT-01 that I've won and the Raiden fader just doesn't quite "cut it" :-)
-
fucking nasty flow man, also flexing the apple watch makes this file much more dope ;-) but for real, I dig it - great variation and your pitching is top

Wooo thanks for the share! It was fun shooting this one because we were trying to go for a casual scratch go-around :-)
-
That's a nasty cut Eric, I dig it.

Just entered my junior year at University, figured I should post a file - audio is a little low though :-( enjoy!

Who is your favourite scratch DJ in 2020? If not your favourite, who would you say is the most technical?
