My grey hairs still count as ID though right? -

Does Grindr count as social media?

In the name of absolute honesty, credit where it's due, etc. Doob was the co-designer. I let him do all the easy stuff like words and that. In fact, he did have a go at the whole poster first but I felt he'd failed to truly capture the essence of what actually haappens at these events and I didn't want to mislead anybody.

Rumoured E-MU SP-1200 Clone From Behringer?
DJ Rock Well replied to danswift's topic in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION
I concur, your English is excellent! And I've confused people I live round the corner from with my text based Dad jokes so I'm most likely the problem -
No prizes for guessing what food will be on offer!

Rumoured E-MU SP-1200 Clone From Behringer?
DJ Rock Well replied to danswift's topic in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION
Do enlighten me please about ISLA's achievements. Take your time, I'll be waiting besides my SP1200. I appreciate English isn't your first language and as I speak no other languages at all, I'm really in no place to criticize, but you misunderstand my comment... The "whoever they might be" is me alluding to the fact that I've never heard of them either. And the "absolute nobodies in Kebzers house, of course" alludes to the fact all owners of E-MU SP-1200s are pretty vocal about how the originals can never be replicated, how this (and any other attempts like it) will all be trash and the negative comments are then rounded out by reminder that they do own an original. I really wasn't taking aim at you specifically in any other capacity than you're the only person on DV I know has one. -
No clue what number we're up to... particularly as there's debate which events count as Super enough to be numbered. Anyway, it's this Saturday NOT Sunday, because Gary didn't want to get the train on Sunday and it's Chris Groove's day off (Gary is now getting a lift and Chris can't make it ). It's going down at our studio in Rye. Which if you don't know where it is by now, probably means you're not really welcome . Anyway, here's the official poster with all the info you'll need!

This one is being made by ISLA Instruments, whoever they might be (absolute nobodies in Kebzers house, of course ) https://www.islainstruments.com/ https://www.residentadvisor.net/news/43378 According to the RA article - not a clone and hopefully under $1000 (which will sadly be around £5000GBP by the time it comes out and Brexit has done it's work) -
I told D-Styles about Digital Vertigo...

Damn Mike! Thanks for this! Often wondered about those drums. On tracks like John Wayne you can clearly hear variation but I still assumed just longer loops and/or more of them. -

Flux is generally pretty reliable for such articles and hes right in there with Behringher, so I dont doubt him when he says its not theirs. There was a guy making a home brew SP replica on a forum that Pete showed me recently, but again, I think that was different to this. -

Which Ortofon setup replaces the M44-7?
DJ Rock Well replied to scottie(the)goonie's topic in EQUIPMENT & AUDIO PRODUCTION
Theres no doubt that odd third party made replacement on eBay. Although Ive found them to be of pretty variable quality, particularly if theyre gonna be used for DJing. Whatever the current base model Ortofon cart is would probably sound better and be easier to get styli for. -

Sadly, the answer is probably to ditch the 500 for a cartridge they still make the stylus for. -

Quintessential scratch beef right here! Although having watched Dopez on Swiftstyle's live stream last night, I say just walk away... maybe even run! -
You sound like Joni Mitchell
