Right now I'm not practice that often but when I had a chance I like to practice my stabs and chirps on some ultra fast electro beat for 10-15 minutes in a row. It's hard but it gives me much more improvement that 2 hour freestyle session.

Yeah, I have used all major crossfaders on the market and inno is my favorite so far.

They have multiply inputs but you can't switch between them so it can be only one audio source.

Huge difference mate. It has tension settings, cut it settings, so it basically ideal crossfader. And you don't have to clean it or maybe once in two years.

I never sampled two songs in one track, seems impossible for me. Now I just cut the sample that I like then try to play some piano on top of it to understand what keys would work and play some vst's instruments on top of it. I stick to this approach but it's hard for me to make something decent because I don't have composing skills and all my instruments on top sounds meh.
