if you're only downloading 2 or 3 movies i shouldn't think they'd even bother. i hear they're targeting people who download hundreds of movies. the same goes for music. people who only have a few tunes on their computer are likely to be ignored - it's chronic dowloaders that are the targets

the matrix sequencer works with the subtractor or the maelstrom. you need a matrix sequencer for each subtractor or maelstrom you create. it basically puts the synth noise on a piano roll so that you can create a melody

well im using reason but i've never tried cubase. in my opinion reason is a solid program for producing music. the on screen interface is well layed out and looks great, the subtractor and maelstrom synths are superb, the redrum computer has loadsa good drum patches to play around with. you could get some really professional results out of reason. however, some people i've spoken to at my college say they much prefer cubase over reason. i guess it's personal preference and which progam you make the better tunes on!

true. you can't just fiddle about with it and hope for stuff to work - you need to know what your doing.

the PMC is nowhere near the same price. in the UK it retails at around £500+ anyone used the Allen and Heath Xone 02? it looks like a happy medium between a scratch/mix mixer. trouble is the x-fader looks absolutely fookin HUGE...

has anyone had any experience with the SMX 501? it's this one here - http://www.decks.co.uk/products/mixers/stanton/smx501 is it any good for scratching or is it mainly a "mix" mixer? any feedback is always appreciated

who's that then? i cant think of anyone releasing a greatest hits album after only 2 albums. yeah, greatest hits can be a bit of a rip off though. there's always a couple of great tracks on albums which are not deemed to be the "greatest". a greatest hits album can always provide a good range of music to a new listener though
