thanks steve yeah I'm still scratching. Quite a lot recently as I'm gearing up to make tutorials again. I quit for a fair bit and got really into bouldering and now I noticed the boulderings helped strengthen my fingers somewhat. Still get pain if im not careful but much better than it used to be ( also much less obsessed with it, so am less bothered when I have to rest, which defo helps!). How you been? Do you still make mixes?

first thing done in Cubase in a while. I remember being shit at bass so thought I'd try make a bass heavy track minimal track. Dunno what genre it is but its all TB 303 emulators so I guess its some sort of 130 bpm acid.

The Tablist.net Android app works fine if you know what you're looking for but 1. is very slow to refresh, 2. still buggy (downloading loops sometimes stops and won't resume so you have to download again and you end up with duplicate loops) and 3. doesn't necessarily have all the loopers available from the site itself

loopers on phones make me feel old lol. I'm on a windows laptop so not really looking for android. my phone wouldn't even let me download the tablist android app too as it mentioned it wasn't compatible with my version

There's loads of loopers in .exe format on tablist.net that you can download. I've only visited the site via a Windows PC, but yeah - there's plenty still available to download on there, and I'm not asked to download any other apps.

If you're trying to run .exe files on Android, well, that's something I know fuck all about.

Yeah on tablist every looper ive been on just says 'Get this looper on the Tablist.net Looper App (iOS & Android) & on the WebLooper.' with the app being the android app that doesn't work and the weblooper being the shitty browser looper that doesn't seem to loop properly and streams beats slowly. Im on a windows 11 laptop too btw. its odd 😕

Been a long time out of the game and now that I'm back (at least for workshop work) all the usual spots (scratchlooper and tablist) seem to want me to download an app that i cant even download because my version of android is too new for it to work just so i can play a looper.. Is there anywhere left where I can download .exe loopers?

Cheers doods, if what im thinking about doesn't work i'll have a look in the forum. After cutting into a midi cable to see the wires and thinking about it a bit, I'm gonna go to electronics shop tomoz and try find some simple switches to do it all manually. Been enjoying a massive DIY bender recently; I built a large portable case with wheels and a detachable door to house all my machines inside, hopefully will be useful when i finally start gigging

So I'm looking for a switch to flip between two different midi configurations. For example if I have device A usually hooked up to device b, but sometimes I might want to flip a switch to use device A with device C.. Would look like the diagram below..

I've just bought squarp pyramid (hardware sequencer for linking all my machines together without needing a desktop computer) and a roland VT- 4 (harmonic vocoder) so hopefully quality of these things will go up a level as I learn the interfaces (fuck knows how long that'll take though..)

fallout 1 and 2 were among the best games ive played.. After that the series just turned into a shooting game IMO, which is ok but its not really what fallout was about. I didn't finish Falllout 4 and I'm glad I didn't buy 76 as it looks horrendous and the company seem shady as fuck.

firefox is buggy as fuck for me. They seem to have gotten shitter as times gone by. Youtube doesn't work properly when I use it - When I sign into paypal using it I can't transfer as the page goes blank - cant stream with OBS on facebook with it - and it freezes on occasion
