It's funny, after nearly five years on this forum, watching scratch videos with admittedly low levels of interest, I've still got very little idea of what's going on. It's just a blur of hands. My secret shame. But on another, more positive note I'll be celebrating my five year anniversary in about a month, although I'll be on holiday so I'm going to brief Jimmy on what to do, how much cake/condoms to buy etc.

I just don't think any of it sounds new or fresh. Since I started playing instruments (badly) again I've been more into songs I can learn. I know that sounds weird but songs that I've previously ignored as being too simple or poppy really appeal to me now because I can play them myself. I've also begun to listen for certain things like chord progressions and scales and I listen for them more in music.

They're just a bit battered. missing one lid, two feet, possible bent tonearm(s), covered in dust and crap. I think the pitch faders are Ok. I did them myself when I got them c. 6 years ago.
