You won't feel limitations until you *hear* the fucking power that Logic puts out, seriously. I started in FL, and I still use it when I'm out of town, and the beats rendered by it sound like bambie compared to the bohemeth of a sound that Logic puts out. Fucking fist to your stomach output.

Yeah, there's like 8234890 beat loopers out right now. Yeah, there are 892349823489 beats out right now. Yeah, it is JUST a beat looper made to scratch over. BUT. I want to know what you guys want from my next looper. My first one was just for me - learning some flash commands, actionscript, putting some beats I made into a single spot, trying my hand at a GUI and a whole mess of other shit. I've started version two, and I already have the shell interface programmed (it will have pretty much the same interface as version 1 - three levels in a compact place - with a few new things), but I'm curious as to what you guys might want. That said, drop some ideas. Anything. You decide.

I have overclocked it a bit, but not much. My CPU was bottlenecking the card enough as it is so it was kind of like putting more horses under my reins when my wheels were oval shaped. But I honestly don't think 300 watts is enough, you can pick up another PSU for pretty cheap lately. I think 400W should be sufficient. The card takes a lot of power, and add in your drives and processor etc... And yes, I'm moving to Chicago at the end of August - I'd be more than willing to let you pick up the card or even chill out. Let me know.

Thanks for the comments. I entirely agree about the vocal pieces in the beat - that's one of my biggest gripes with it. I can't change it though, because the vocals are actually embedded in the instrument sounds. I cut up some shit I timestretched together.

Beat 3 is real sick. I found a glitch, though. When you play any beat, then press the X to stop, you can't play the beat that you just stopped again. You have to pick another beat for the other to become active again. I.E. Play beat 1 Press X Try playing beat 1 again

Logic has, by far, the best audio engine I've heard from any software application. With the right EQ and compression your shit will hit way harder than with any other application I've used. Logic can be used on both PC and Mac platforms. I use it on the Mac, but I've used E-Magic Logic Audio Platinum for the PC. Try looking for that.
