I've got a 60-70 minute mix that I'm close to having knocked out. I'm converitng it to mp3, uploading it to yousendit plus a mate's going to host it for free download.
will keep all interested advised of developments.

it's a bit like a dj equivalent to GLC to me- all this novelty rap shit just doesn't do it for me tbh. I bought cut n paste 2, couldn't believe he did a juggle, fucked it up, and left it in the final edit.

probably. I was recording at 128000 khz, 32-bit, the file won't compress.
I have learnt a valuable lesson, and will probably have a crack at it again tonight, btw Liam, I would still like the lead.. nearly broke my back humping the computer around this christmas..

course it was, 95% of my music collection was on cassette until about 1997, now cassettes are near-obselete.
admittedly I am no angel, I will download hiphop and if it floats my boat buy the wax, other than that I download mixes.
whatever format or trick the MPAA try there will always be piracy in some shape or form and I think for them to consider this is a completely bad thing is very blinkered, I see it as part of my musical education and a stepping stone to investing in good artist's work

I've hooked up my pc and been recording a few mixes past few days, however I don't really no what the settings on sf should be to make a good quality wav recording
I did about 60 minutes yesterday and ended upn with a 2.3 gig file, with glitches in the recording to boot..
any1 advise me on what I need my settings to be?

since i dl'd sp2 kazaaliteressurection has been little hit very miss.
anyone have the same problem?

I vary the stop starts quite a lot.
the quartz lock is hella useful in the mix and for drumming, more musically you can essentiall get 4 different notes using just the qurtz lock and the 33/45 buttons too,
I use the reverse in the mix to double the beats up a bit
ultrapitch-to- fuck a lotta tunes (though not vocal tracks)
I've tried using the ultrapitch when beeping, i'm wack at that though, haven't spent enought time practising with it.
the str8 tone arm is killer !!
not having fixed connections is a bonus too..
I like my technics (except the mono one!) but they feel like they were designed to listen to music on, my pdx's feel like they were designed to let rip!!!
