  1. nice joint man, you got some serious skills
  2. thanks for the feedback dirka, i want to put some scratching in some of my beats but i haven't bought the right cables yet
  3. got back into sampling. still trying to compose though. let me know what you guys think http://soundcloud.com/jusebeezy

  5. i'm really interested in komplete, so your rant is very useful to me. i might end up getting it during their sale time. i'm kinda disappointed bout the orchestral instruments but everything else is amazing. their electric guitar isn't bad either, i like their chug guitar sound compared to the one i'm using now. i think komplete is one of those must have softwares in the studio.
  6. yea man komplete is for sure everything in one. a must have for any producer. that would be nice to get but hopefully i could get it before a soundsonline sale. i really love eastwest vsti but right now i'm looking for some electronic sounds. one last question, what do you think of sampletank 2?
  7. i fuckin do, great breakdown of each synth. good lookin out with that tom. that definitely helped narrow down my choices. i'm looking for something for some club , pop, and rnb for this album i'm workin on with another artist. at the same time, i also want something that i can use for hip hop too but i think right now i can only afford razor. i need to focus on some club hits and from that demo, razor had some bangin presets itself. i guess im going for the samples but i also like tweaking them, would you say that omnisphere is a good buy for how expensive it is? i'm also interested in this one called "titan" but it's not even available on its own site.

  9. damn this synth has really nice sounds for only $70.00. might consider getting this instead. here's a list of synths i'm considering buying. the only problem is my budget can only afford one. anyway let me know what you think nexus, omnisphere, or sylenth 1.
  10. great remix tom, i don't regularly listen to dubstep but your joint was dope. mix is good too. dopp, let me add two cents by saying that a huge majority of serious producers these days are learning recording engineering on top of making beats. i wonder if most recording engineers today are trying to produce beats as well.
  11. actually i'm posting this question for my friend. i've never used netflix before but i can find out for you. i'll ask my boy.
  12. is it possible to rip netflix to the computer and then convert the file to avi or anything?
  13. that is amazing, that would take sampling and producing to a whole new level
  14. that's what i'm always confused about dop, it's pretty sleazy to do something like that but i always hear " the buyer must clear the samples" and i think what is meant by commercial use is if the beat is on radio or if that beat is sells over hundreds units or something like that. but another thing is that if the beat is non-exclusive, then they can use the sample beat on mixtapes. which i don't understand either because aren't mixtapes sold in stores anyway?
  15. all my homies that make beats say that the buyer must clear the samples if the he buys the beat exclusively for commercial use.
  16. piano sounds so so nice, did you mix that or is that the vst alone? aside from that question, the track is awesome.
  17. i always thought scratching was really cool but i didn't know where to start or even knew how one obtained turntables. before scratching, i've never been inside guitar center or any type of music instrument and equipment store. i played the piano when i was a kid from 1st grade - 4th grade but that's all my musical education. 8th grade summer i started getting into underground hip hop. hieroglyphics were my first artists. i don't even know how i stumbled across hiero. all thanks to limewire i suppose. in the 10th grade of high school, my friend bought a pair of turntables and it's history from there. i tried some baby scratches and was hooked from then on.
  18. mbox2 or digi 003 rack for all your recording purposes.
  19. good lookin out with that, i'll check out that site
  20. that is sick bubba, i didn't know lady gaga was dope on the keys. i
