  1. Craig, any idea what the spyware you've got is called? As you're using Vista, I'm not sure whether files are bad, or they're part of Vista itself. It might be worth running that Spyware Sweeper program that dooban used first to see if that sorts it.

it's not a consistant message Steve.. if I go on facebook I get dating pop up, if I o on poker site I get gambling pop up, when i come on dv I get xbox or mobile phone poop up .. etc etc

I downloaded that spyware sweeper that dooban used but it said it couldn't work on my system???

so you're getting a pop up for whatever type of site you're on?

  2. I dunno - lots of people seemed to recommend Panasonics when I was on the lookout for a big TV.

If you're going for a Plasma TV Panasonic or Pioneer is recommended. Otherwise for LCD I highly recommend staying with Samsung and Sony

  3. Do you use Kontiki?

    C:\Program Files\Apoint2K\Apoint.exe

you can probably remove it if you don't, it's just a resource hog from what I read, every thing there seems to be clean though, but party-poker installs ad-ware I believe

  4. Any sony LCD ( just not the "M" series) or Samsung LCD will be fine, the samsung you posted should be fine, if you're willing to spend more, you could get a 1080p tv which will have a higher resolution (1920 x 1080) the one you are looking at is (1366 x 768). Do you plan on watching a lot of sports? Then I would recommend getting a TV with 120HZ, aka 120 frames per second, unfortunately the price goes up alot for those types.

Ideally I would recommend this tv since it's a Full HD (1080p) picture and also 120HZ, I've sold this tv ALOT and all of my customers have loved it. http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/669922/art...m=41#tech-specs

if you're looking to keep the price low this would be fine http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/686273/art...000-lcd-te.html

  5. So I wanted a macbook pro, but I didn't want my parents to go in debt a shit ton, so I bought this computer instead http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDeta...78#availability

Don't give me shit for buying a sony vaio, I know what comes on it and I know how to take it all off, I'll probably even go back to XP but maybe run linux/ubuntu or whatever the hell my brother is telling me to get. Anyways I was playing with the macbook pro today and I really want garage band, it just is simple and easy to use and fun to play with. My question to you wise homies, is what is available for PC's right now that is similar to garage band?

On my laptop now I have:

    Adobe audition 1.5

Fruity loops studio producer XXL edition v6.0.08

    Sony Vegas 6

    Sony acid Pro

    Cubase SX v3.1.1

The thing is I never had time to learn any of them, beside adobe audition. Please let me know if you know of anythin similar to garage band or if there have been any new releases of the programs I have now. because I'm pretty sure they are all 2 years old lol

  6. My friend has 3 xbox 360's two have the ring of death. So he's giving me one, but they are not covered under warranty so i'll have to pay 150 dollars, but no worries 150 dollars for a xbox 360 with a harddrive and wireless remote, i'm psyched.
