    Does anyone have issues after the first few minutes? My experience is that once I'm in there I'm good. That's why I've always been pretty careful about my first few minutes. I get that down solid in practice to get me through the nerves and after that I'm fine. I've never done DMC though, and if you botch your first few minutes there you're pretty much fucked.

    Hello,

    When I started scratching I thought I was the shit. I was not.
    It wasnt untill years later that I realized something important. I started to analyze what I was doing, so I could do it whenever I wanted, whenever. All my mistakes became my strengths.

    I analyzed what I was doing, I analyzed the structure of my solos - the overall shape of it: how to start, what happens in the middle, what should the end be like. It seems alot of people do not do that, its all about how to do this or that scratch. No dramaturgy

    So after all this some good things happened.
    People said I was original.

    I really belive that everyone can do that - just listen to yourself and analyze.
    Everyone has got incredible potenitial. Listen to what the fuck youre doing - everyone has their signature. Try to figure out what youre doing wrong, thats what youre doing right.

    Goethe (google him), said that when you're in your youth you should focus on details. Small things like poems about one particular flower.
    Larger works should be postponed till later years.

    I think he's right.
