yeah i know, i dont really konw the diff between mac and pc that well considering i've only had this thiing for less than 2 months but one thing i like about it is that i dont get spy ware or viruses, i can download anything not have to worry. its just so much more prettier. macs are like the diesel jeans for computers. i am just a sucker for functionable beauty.

i dunno how you guys do it, maybe my needles are shit but they're the white labels which use the same exact cartridge has the m44-7 except the m44's have a stronger bass to them.. they never skipped on my 1200's but recently i just did a swap with a friend (not a permanent one) and so i'm using his pdx's now and they skip like a little girl playing double dutch. i have to set the weight to the heaviest, straight arm is a bunch of whack b.s. but i do love the turntable for the pitch functions. DOPE on that part! Tyra

thank you for being so prompt you guys are the best seriously. its my pioneer 707/and tascam us 122 audio interface, stock sound card in the laptop i figured out the problem, its a peice of SHITE sound card coz i just plugged the cords into my ibook and theres no hissing at all. thank you guys. i'll just have to buy a new sound card, shitty theres nothing like fruity loops made for mac haha seems to be the only program i know how to use........... :s Tyra

i'm using my pc laptop for fruity loops, i plugged my audio interface into the laptop and the xlrs are going through my dj mixer that connects to my monitors, i've tried to reconfigure everything but everytime i plug the autio interface into the usb port of the laptop OR everytime i plug in the rca jacks that connect from the mixer into the laptop the speakers make this really LOUD hissing noise and it wont stop. does anyone know how to fix this? please let me know thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Desperate.

thanks deeswift, i wonder if my itunes can do it? i just tried about to go test it out right now..... prolly wont work but i am not settling for a LAME mp3 encoded cd anyday soon. whats up with everyone quoting me at the end of their post? esp not the not so nice things i have to say haha. Tyra

you can also record a gapless continuous mix with other softwares too, i use wavelab and audacity , i wonder why mp3s cant be recorded without a gap..

rygon, i dont have an ego at all. i never once made myself seem superior neither did i claim that my assumptions were true i just explained my answer the best that i could based on my experience with the mixers...somebody decided to be a buffoon and attempted to make me look like an idiot because of a wrong adjective i was using.... YEAH gabe, mine is silver too. I doubt the white one even exists..I havent seen it anywhere! You know exacxtly what I'm talking about, thanks for clarifying.. Tyra
