i'm so sorry this is such a stupid request. it's an electro track, so early/mid 80s. not sure if it's totally instrumental. now in my brain i'm suspecting Noize used it. but then again he did use jam on revenge so maybe i'm mixing it up with that. anyway ignore everything....

OK Steve... not so much a track ID, as a guess what song is in my head challenge... it's definitely been used in a dmc battle and my guess is USA 1999-2001, so i might resort to rewatching if you can't krypton factor this one... i also considered that it might feature in a famous mix, like one of the Lessons, or chemist and shadow It's almost like the intro of Get into the groove by Madonna, very similar intro melody, if it was produced by Newcleus.... it's the melody for a few bars before the drums come in... God this is useless of me, but it also makes it more impressive when you inevitably get it... (hopeful face??)

Djackulate. tone arm not enough for you?

I ended up picking up a pair of these. Sennheiser PXC 550 I was considering the Sony ones... and they actually just brought out the XM4s, but i saw that you can't switch between 2 devices as conveniently as Sennheisers can, and that was one thing that was annoying me before. These retail at about €240, but Ended up finding a pair brand new second for €100. The Noise Cancellation is decent, and I don't really use it much, but obviously never going to be as good as on the sonys. Theyre comfortable, and sound pretty good. There is one annoying thing that itunes automatically starts up the odd time seemingly without prompting, it's not that often, but must figure out whats going on.

have any of you ever Djed with a set of Bluetooth headphones? Just wondering if the latency would be noticeable. Are any mixers compatible these days or do you need to have a receiver going into the headphone jack? I'd be interested at that price point. I'm too careless sometimes so i have a hard time investing too much. I have destroyed good sony and pioneer ones needlessly in the past... Plus i'm not actually that fussy about what headphones i use when Djing.

I was very interested to see the spec of this. I picked up a Pixel 3a early this year, got it for only 220 euro. Rear camera is brilliant for 1 lens and for the price, i believe its the processing behind it that google have nailed, but 64GB of space is a bit annoying. I wonder how the Pixel 4a will compare to this.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT CROWD. One of those programs I always randomly put on when I'm bored. You need to watch it to at least S02E01 - Work Outing. My favourite episode. I was actually disappointed with the first season when it first came out, but it was s02e01 where they found their footing and the show got better. it's a great episode. and that in turn made rewatching series 1 better.

We don't stray too deep into the geeky territory. Mainly Boggle, Yahtzee, 30 Seconds, Trivial Pursuit. I went to the game shop in dublin with thought of maybe buying Jaipur or something, but ended up coming back with Skulls and Codenames. I did make my own game a few years ago. I was working in a PR/ad agency and i thought it'd be a good idea as the corporate gift. Idea was for it to be kinda like a mix of 30 seconds, articulate pictionary. Basically, draw it , hum it, act it, describe it... kind of thing i wrote every single clue, and had to do it in about 2 days. One of my mates in the office did a silly unboxing of it.

my huawei died finally. Bought a brand new Pixel 3a of a guy, sealed with receipt for €230. Chuffed with it. Clean android, and the camera is fucking sick! Speakers are pretty good too, battery seems fine, but as we're currently tripling our usual phone usage, it's hard to guage yet what it realistically should be insane price for a great phone.
