  1. I think the sequence would match whatever the settings were when you created it. If you're only working with still images in the sequence it shouldn't matter too much as the software should compensate for the different frame rates (although you might find problems with dropped frames). If you're working with video it would be a lot more complicated, and it's a lot easier to make sure you're matching frame rates from the start. Similarly depending on how deep you are into the project I would be tempted to re-import your clips and start a new sequence just to keep everything in the same format.
  2. Yes the ones ending in 'i' are interlaced, the ones ending in 'p' are progressive. Additionally avoid any of the PAL or NTSC settings as these are both interlaced formats. The easiest way to work progressive is to set your project settings to p from the start (Final cut pro >Audio video settings > set to a p format eg HDV 720p25) Make your sequence, set your in and out points and then file> export > quicktime movie (or use compressor depending on what you want to do) If you've set your project settings to a progressive scan format you can simply leave it setting set to 'current settings', if not you will need to change to a p format. That should give you a progressive scan .mov at 25fps. I've never done any video scratching though so I've no idea about what happens when it reaches that end of things so maybe something else is causing the problem if you've done all of this already.
  3. What are you exporting as? Can't you just export in a progressive scan format rather than an interlace scan?
  4. Good stuff Mike. This routine actually sounds good rather than the gimmicky for the sake of it type of thing you often get. So anyway mate, isn't it about time you battled Woody for the title of 'best DJ to have entered, but never won DMC' ?
  5. Just realised these are both on the vertebrae promo mix in much better quality anyway. Ah well.
  6. Also it's good to see a post from you Awkward - these tracks are great. It's just a shame it's under such shitty circumstances.
  7. Nice one chile. Here's a couple more that I have: Mix with awkward Awkward mix Held tight (Also done with awkward I think ? one of my favourites anyway) Held tight If anyone has these in better quality then please post them!
  8. Well I don't find books or magazines too much trouble, and you don't need to turn the pages on this. Again like what? I don't dispute there are other tablet or touch screen gizmos around but I'm almost certain there is nothing like this. Thats not to say that means it's great, it might be utter toss, but it is unique. Use one and you'll see. Lots of things but gestures basically. On a macbook using one finger moves the cursor, using two fingers scrolls around the screen. Three fingers swiped backwards goes back a page, three fingers forward a page. Four fingers up exposes the desktop, four fingers down tiles all open windows. For fingers sideways switches between open apps. Using multiclutch I can use a three finger up swipe to open a new tap, down to close active tab. The list goes on and you can pretty much customise it how you want. Once you've used one everything else seems stupid. Even if you're a keyboard shortcut wizard it still doesn't compare. I'm not a fanboy, some things apple do are shit, but I recognise what they do well and no current platform is better for surfing the web than apple imo.
  9. Like what? I've no need for one of these but it's pretty much unique in the market. At the end of the day it's a netbook and without getting fanboy about it (because apple do do a lot of things really shittily) macs are just way better to surf the net on than any other commonplace system. Once you've used gestures etc to navigate around, using a mouse and pointing and clicking seems ridiculously clunky.
  10. You sure he's a mackem? I didn't see him bite a single persons nose off in that clip.
  11. Have you seen the community scratch stuff? All those boys are definitely making scratch music that's more about the music than the scratching. But with lots of scratching. If you get what I mean. The making music from scratching just for the sake of doing it is done and dusted with a bit of luck.
  12. Damn. I'm not crying, I've just got something in my eye that's all
  13. Get AnyDVD and run it when you're running DVD shrink. Should work fine. ps Stealing's bad mmmkay.
  14. What does it say on the PSU for the mixer about the input voltage? If it's auto switching you might be alright. Check first though.
  15. Is all your kit running throught the transformer? Why? Did you buy all of your kit abroad or something?
  16. If you scratch 'Mattnice' into the side of it with a compass, I reckon at least £1000.
  17. You have to include the obvious classic
  18. Say what? Do you mean you're using a step up/down transformer rated at 500w or something? Transformers of any kind can certainly create mayhem.
  19. It was years ago and it created a legend. It's just my tribute.
  20. Might as well get the easy one out of the way...
  21. Fuck all that shit - Van Dammes getting back in the ring! http://www.fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/Jean-Claude-Van-Damme-to-fight-Somluck-Kamsing-in-K-1.html
