  1. This double screen TV looks pretty cool... and it's FREE. Catch is the second screen runs ads nonstop and there is a camera that watches you. I both love and hate this. Very dystopian but TBH if I didn't have a TV it would be pretty appealing. I could see some of the potential features of the second screen being pretty cool (order pizza, play games, place sports bets). The 24/7 mini screen ads is weird but wouldn't bother me... the camera tho... walking around in my skivvies watching toons in the morning.. sorry for whomever has to watch me. Couldn't you just put a sticker over the camera tho? freetelly.com
  2. Maybe post it on the DV facebook page? I'm working my way through the second one now, Waxie. Enjoying it so far!
  3. I've read good reviews with a few negative about the dungeons being bad or tutorial too long. The combine objects seems neat but once I read more it sounds really weird. Maybe I don't get it.. but you can build cars, tanks, and remote gun turrets shaped like dicks? Sounds cool but not at all like a Zelda game.
  4. A friends got the VR setup for PS4. I came over when he got it but we spent most the time just trying to set it up (lame). Based on my limited trial it seemed pretty cool. He ended up returning it tho. Said it was really disorienting and made him motion sick.
  5. Hell yeah! Will add it to my morning listen.
  6. Google's Bard just went live https://bard.google.com/
  7. Rather than keep posting in that game thread thought it would be good to start a separate one. I am just today taking ChatGPT for a test run. Best thing I've come up with so far is having it write me a review of Super Mario Brothers movie but in old English.
  8. Did you see scientists at UT Austin came up with some tech where AI can basically read your thoughts? Straight up science fiction shit.
  9. I see what your saying but seems like Liquid Swords is more like that DJ slamming through relying on another's music to carry it than actually being less is more.
  10. Yeah man this tech is going to turn society on its head.
  11. Totally. Like is DJ Muro or Soulman or David Rodigan etc less of a DJ because they don't mix? (at least on the beatdigger stuff I have heard). Or battle in a technical fashion? There can be different ways to entertain and it doesn't always have to be technical.
  12. Totally. Also seems like with a vast collection there would be a lot of meh in there too. the same argument was/is had of sampling tho. I'm sure theres some way it could be used that would be skillful but it's hard to imagine for me especially considering I don't really understand AI workflow.
  13. https://www.twitch.tv/mcburnface This is my Twitch. Been doing some trial runs at streaming. Thinking tonight might be when I go live publicly. Add me if you'd like
  14. https://djtechtools.com/2023/04/25/the-resurgence-of-djings-golden-age-could-come-with-ai/?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=campaign&_kx=v6H-sp5nnsOuDnphXdawpb4wN3iFxwv5FU-DCfgtCyXsgT1N_aZtgS3epT7kk4_l.UWNig7 This article was talking about how producers have overshadowed DJs but using AI to make tunes will diminish the cloud of producers and return DJing to the forefront. It is interesting... the idea of using AI to help make music. There's music in my head that I dont' have the time/ability to create. Would be cool even if it feels like cheating (isn't that what olds always say tho). But on the flip my fear is it would degrade both the producer and DJ. If producers can be replaced by AI the same can be done for DJs. An AI DJ hologram projection doing performances probably isn't that far away. Seems like the biggest loss would be at the local level. Why would clubs pay for a DJ when you can just subscribe to a virtual DJ service. Never thought this would happen in my lifetime and while it's somewhat exciting the changes will be massive.
  15. Kinda reminds me of the old days when almost every thread would take a hard turn around post three! :P
  16. You ever tried Gimp? It's a free PS clone. It's pretty good.
  17. Evolve or die. So by saying you need PhotoShop does that mean it's doing this ON your computer with your toold vs being a webapp?
  18. So how do you use AI to make something like that? Do you feed it a pic and request certain tweaks?
  19. Oof. That Drunk Trumpet dig hurts. I was mindblown when I first saw it. Any chance you played Live Human for them? Been a long time since I've given it a listen but remember that being really well done. Sounds like you need some new friends :P This is basically why I stopped juggling. Or trying to juggle since i was shit anyways.
  20. ^^^That Noise one is the best I remember seeing. IDK if this Craze one counts... kinda is toning but not quite like how it's normally done. Crazy B did some toning... there are a couple in this set (first one is meh but second one it's cued up to is decent for the time period) (also holla! Doggystyle setup!). Swamp had a couple that were basic but still pretty cool (also did needle dropping).
  21. Oh yeah, I've played that many times at Tilt (the arcade by my junior high). Not sure how it holds up but was awesome back in the day.
