Yo! Here's a new routine I've made using Matchsticks by Stray. On a nerdy tip: I wanted to try to make something different from what I've done previously with this and limit myself to just using cue points and one physical deck and make a melodic beat juggle of sorts, expanding on how I've approached trick mixing and performing with one physical deck over the years. Also - a big shout out to Muzzell whose recent routines have been massively inspiring to me in terms of exploring where I can take my own stuff using one turntable. https://www.facebook.com/DJJon1st/videos/1629182457102987/
gotta say.... some serious beats on here! good work crew! my favourite is possibly wubalubadubdub by crutch.... no fucking about on that one but the standard is silly high. cant wait t osee the skratch round
Nice one Sy and Nick for the dope looper The scratch fallout is going to be massive on this, so I've just moved into this for the battle Waiting for the scratch Armageddon to commence
thanks all @ Dirk - I found that Shure's new needles weren't lasting as long as they used to. Has anyone else had that problem? Ortofon offered to sponsor me, so I thought I'd give them a go. No complaints yet!
Was trying to drop a scratch entry before I left, so now it will have to be on the portable. I wasnt planning on entering to win, because the lot of you are far more disgusting on the cut. Just wanna get involved
step 1) Just play crusty C-90 cassettes of dusty old hip hop and pre 1980's Funk. step 2) Tell everyone to go fuck themselves if they can't handle it that you're in charge. step 3) Put Cypress Hill on first.
