Loophole - welcome to the forum! Glad to have you here. As alluded to above, there's plenty more to come - after this, I'll be carrying on with the usual sample flip challenges and I think this combined scratch and scratch beat battle will be a semi-regular occurence based on the response it's got. Although there are prizes this time (cheers Si!) most of it's just for fun and general self-improvement, getting more content finished and out in the world, etc. Loving all these great beats that keep getting posted fellas (and space travelling crustaceans)!

Seriously missed being there mate! Particularly as my alternate day consisted of having our old cat put to sleep, immediately followed by the mother in law's birthday lunch in a place full of wrinklies. Oh and between family organisational fuck ups and rivalries, we sat waiting for others/to order food for an hour and a half with empty stomachs and the strong smell of a carvery we couldn't eat yet. A shit weird day, I hope not to repeat any time soon!

All these beats are crazy... gonna be hard to pick just one to record video for. Big ups to all the beat makers... you guys are killing it in this round!!!

@Loophole Theres also a monthly beat battle on DV where DJ Rock Well picks an album for the sample heads on here to slice and dice if you feel like giving it a shot sometime. The more people that get involved with these battles the better in my opinion !

Shout out to DubbaDutch for posting about this. Super dope idea! Have been lurking on here since Friday, the beats you guys put up here are nuts!
