So... being a rock star in the 70s. A time when musicians were gods, egos fuelled by adoring fans and cocaine (mostly cocaine). These narcotically driven egos produced a hell of a musical legacy, but there was a much darker side that's all too often written out of the history books. Exhibit A - I'm sure it was one hell of a ride being in the Silver Bullet Band, but what do you have to stick up your nose to think "I know, tonight I'm gonna kill it with a midriff"? Exhibit B - A real curveball here from The Temptations. The fella on the right seems to have forseen the arrival of Louie Spence, while his mate (second from the left) just feels more comfortable dressed as mom.

thanks man. i recon you could cut fast at this speed, you got mad skills. I dont think theres such a thing as cheating either in scratching.. i mean if you saw what im doing in that file you might think im cheating as i use lots of og flares,, chirps and flare like stuff to acheive a sort of illusion of speed. if you can cut normal speed 85 bpm you can cut double time at 170 i recon.. its just being comfortable with the flow thats important. Youre a really well balanced scratcher and im sure when you cut at 85bpm you can do some embelishments in double time and really all im doing is working on my own double timed embelishments, developping them further so i can carry on going at that speed.

I must be a slow learner.
