  2. now available on https://www.tablist.net/looper/dj-chile-ambivalentworks-looper-vol-1
  3. This looks great! It's in early access at the moment on Steam, and it's apparently a bit rough around the edges, but I have no doubt it'll be really good when it's finished. It's from the same devs that made the Ori games. What I really like is that it has drop-in/drop-out online co-op for up to 4 people, so you can play through the game with friends or go solo. No release date has been set for the full launch.
  4. Ah, nice one man! You should get a new freestyle scratch video out there! My health has been shit to be honest; slowly declining for years now, no matter what I try and do to make it better. I haven't used my decks in a loooong time; maybe a decade. Time just flies though - the last completed mix I made was 11 years ago, but it doesn't seem like that at all.
  5. i believe, as long as you were logged in on the old 360 then your saves and progress should transfer over. its been a while since i had to do that. im sure its a quick google search.
  6. Yeah I got a couple sitting around too but wish I had my peripherals. I had the Bose Xbox branded surround sound and flight simulator rig. Do you know if you log in with an xbox does it DL all your game old saves? I transferred everything to Xbone before selling but IDK if it's gonna be a pain to restore. Just rambling here but wonder if they ever made a portable screen for the 360.
  7. i finally started playing shredders revenge on the switch. i only really pull out my switch when im going to get my oil changed on the car. love a good beat em up. dont have to think about the game. no real strategy. just punch kick throw repeat.
  8. i just got the definitve version a while ago during on the christmas sales. it is a good game. i need to get back to it myself.
  9. back to splatoon. one of the best things about doing matches on the wiiU is the squid mini game that you play on the hand held while waiting to set up a match. i wish i got some matches in before they took the server down.
  10. 360s are easy to get your hands on. i got 2 of them. i got one of the OG models with the clip on hard drive for the kids. then later on i found a slim version with the wifi built in. Got it at the goodwill. under $100 and it came with red dead and halo reach. i dont play the xboxes that much. but i dont play anything that much anymore.

  12. I restarted Shadow of the Tomb Raider, a game I bought back in 2019, played for an hour or so, then I got side-tracked by online multiplayer games and I never went back to it. I think it's part of one of the best reboots of any game series. I love the exploration, the combat, and the stealth mechanics. There's loads to do. It still looks fantastic. The story is dumb, which is a shame, but I don't think that makes too much difference overall. The Definitive Edition is part of Game Pass, so if you've not played it and you have an Xbox or PC, I'd definitely recommend it.
  13. Oh wow I didn't even realize it was still live. The 360 was so damn good. Wish I hadn't sold mine. It was a launch day model tho and shocked it made it so far. Bailed and bought a Xbone.
  14. Yeah i haven't played that one either. My older boy kinda aged out of Splatoon around when I got it but the younger is close to being able to... need to fire it up and see if he can do it.
  15. i did enjoy the splatoon matches on wiiU. my kids have the newest splatoon on the switch. I havent even played it yet. but those online matches were great.
  16. The Xbox 360 marketplace shuts down on June 29th too. You'll still be able to buy backwards compatible Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games via the regular MS Store, but you'll no longer be able to buy digital Xbox 360 games that are not backwards compatible. You will be able to re-download stuff you've already bought.
  17. https://www.gamesradar.com/games/splatoon/the-last-splatoon-player-still-standing-after-nintendos-wii-u-shutdown-is-now-trapped-in-map-purgatory-for-the-next-ten-years/ This is pretty fascinating. Dead servers and forever lost digital games/content fascinate me as a game collector. I was pretty unhappy when they announced the 3DS/WiiU shutdown. DL'd a bunch of 3DS games that will be more or less lost forever prior to Nintendo shutting down the store. Still had a little money in there that I couldn't spend. Wish they had dropped the prices to $1 or free. Also really wish they had worked out some way for players to continue online play via P2P or allowed hobbyists to step in to provide servers. One of the bigger regrets is that I didn't find the time to DL more of the shared Mario Maker levels. Got some but not nearly as many as I'd hoped for. Welp.... RIP StreetPass, eStore and Mii Plaza.
  18. I hear ya. Been trying to get more depth to my bass and more interesting drum patterns. Easier said than done... at least for me!
  19. thanks steve yeah I'm still scratching. Quite a lot recently as I'm gearing up to make tutorials again. I quit for a fair bit and got really into bouldering and now I noticed the boulderings helped strengthen my fingers somewhat. Still get pain if im not careful but much better than it used to be ( also much less obsessed with it, so am less bothered when I have to rest, which defo helps!). How you been? Do you still make mixes? thanks man trying to get a bit more of a cleaner sound with bass so not really my usual thing but I quite like it. I've done like 6 more versions of it since I posted this haha
  20. Fun tune man! Not what I expected at all. Sounds good!
  21. Good shit man! I assume you're still scratching? How are your hands doing these days?
  22. managed to get one. had to send some cash to a french friend to buy one there and ship it over.. they seem extremely rare these days. Korg never emailed back when i asked if they have any boards
  23. first thing done in Cubase in a while. I remember being shit at bass so thought I'd try make a bass heavy track minimal track. Dunno what genre it is but its all TB 303 emulators so I guess its some sort of 130 bpm acid.
  24. I've been playing a racing game called Trail Out. It's a budget game created by a core dev team comprised of just 4 people. It doesn't have particularly high production values, but it reminds me of older arcade racers like Burnout and FlatOut. It's just silly mayhem a lot of the time, ramming other racers until their cars blow up, and using nitrous to fly past everyone into first place. The story and voice acting are bad in a good way; the game feels like a parody, even if that was not intentional. There's a bunch of stuff to unlock, various different types of races and events, including demolition derby, and overall you get a decent amount of content for your money, with more supposedly on the way. A large free update to the game is supposedly coming very soon that will add new modes, a new map with dynamic weather/time of day, new cars, and various other improvements. The main focus is on the single player campaign, but there's also other single player modes and local multiplayer for 2-4 people. The game has no online racing at all, which kinda sucks cos I think it would be a ton of fun to play with/against real players, but as far as I can tell, they have no plans to add it. It's been out on PC for a while, has just come to Xbox Series consoles (although unfortunately, not on Game Pass), and is supposedly coming to PS5 later this year. If you're looking for a highly polished experience, you want a sim racer, or you want to play online with friends, this won't be for you, but if you want to reminisce back to the days of fun arcade racers it's worth picking up IMO. Trailer: - This is the original trailer from 2022. They have improved the game's performance a fair bit since then, although it's still kinda janky at times, particularly when there's a ton of stuff going on.
  25. anyone got a broken EMX1? I want it for the KLM 2369 output circuit board.. the outputs on my machine are fucked and i have loads of music id like to make into a looper on it..
  26. Did you see Apple apparently filed a patent modifying AirPods with electrodes that can read you mind. There have been some advancement in this type of tech and it's definitely not ready for prime time but they are getting out in front of it nonetheless.
  27. I understand the vision, which is going beyond the smartphone and replacing it, but I can't see the tech getting there any time soon. MKBHD's review led to a wider conversation about the ethics of reviews, given that people with his level of influence could potentially kill a startup, but to me, as long as there's no conflicts of interest and the reviewer is behind honest, I have no problem with a small company getting their product stomped on if it sucks ass. That's what reviewers should do - not make excuses based on what a future version of the product might be like (and probably never will).
