I got with a sick tight click and went all out on a Jesse Dean Portable

I did the math and it was only like $30.00 for his shop to do the mods (fader, carbon fiber tonearm, start/stop, ultrapitch, sanded platter)

 

I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet but it feels solid and the mods are clean.

It's just sitting here on my desk at work too waiting to be cut upon. 

 

I feel kind of weak for not dong the mods myself but I know from experience that there's a decent chance I'd botch something or other and that his outfit is probably doing a ton of these and have it locked down.

I'll see if I can get my act together an post something up.  My only complaint so far is that at low speeds the sound "warbles" when you release the record.  I don't know if doing that charity bracelet mod will help with that or not.  Somewhere on here Rasteri was saying its because the torque and pitch are linked so slow speed = less torque.  Anyway, it's pretty damn good for what it is.
