Guest rasteri
Rodec no longer sell Scratchbox PSUs and Matt needs one so I'm gonna build one. If anyone else wants one, as a spare or whatever, let me know. Price will be in the region of £30-£50, not quite sure yet.
Deft
I need one. But I want a fucking amazing one. Like an iPhone X version. Happy to take a couple if it makes it more worthwhile. I want the best PSU money can buy.

DJ Rock Well
If anybody knows on here knows a scratcher who goes by the name 'sonderskooler' (or something like that), he was bemoaning his SB PSU playing up on Instagram. Give him a shout if you do!
Deft
I want one with directional AC power cables for maximum audio depth and smoothness.

sndrsklr
If anybody knows on here knows a scratcher who goes by the name 'sonderskooler' (or something like that), he was bemoaning his SB PSU playing up on Instagram. Give him a shout if you do!I am listening/reading. Will the spare PSU be less bulky? That is another thing that is bothering me with the original PSU. Deft
Are there different PSUs? My Scratchbox one is pretty miniscule, but heavy and gets hotter than the surface of the sun.
sndrsklr
Maybe we have different definitions of bulky... My PSU is a little black square with attached cables to it. Not suber big but compared to just a standard cable a little bulky
Flexinoodle
If i send you up this scratchbox, can you see if it is repairable, if so i want a psu for sure.
Guest rasteri
It certainly won't be any smaller than the rodec one. It all depends on what enclosure I can find.
DJ Rock Well
I don't mind what size it is.

Deft
I've always blamed the excessive heat on the tiny size of the Rodec PSU - it must be the smallest PSU I've seen on a standard kind of dj mixer / studio equipment. I'll take one the size of the Scratchbox itself if it gets rid of the stupid whine noise I seem to be suffering.
DJ Rock Well
My power supply woes stopped me in my tracks from properly working this out I'm afraid mate. I
Deft
If it doesn't fix it I'll just get a Rane 72 innit.

Guest Psychedelic Schizophrenic
If you could build me a PSU then like the tech boss you are, continue to build me a Scratchbox or 3, I would be eternally grateful
Deft
Have you not made these yet Rasteri you massive bastard. I finally today got myself a ART DTI ground loop isolator thingy which has made my setup almost perfect, now all I have left is a faint (potential) PSU whine, only really audible through my headphones. The golden power supply might be the thing that completes my noise free setup.
Guest rasteri
I'm actually making the first one as we speak, if it works I'll build more. Maybe.
