by the classic whistling do you mean The Good The Bad & The Ugly?
cos if so, you shold be able to find it really easily on vinyl or mp3.
check out the Fistful Of Dollars theme too.

that's where my problem come's in. i've been living in the philippines for about a year and a half and there are no record shops in my area. it's all good tho, if i can find some online i'll just order it to my pad back in the states. every month my bro sends us supplies etc. i want that instrument in the beginning of the good, the bad, and the ugly real bad tho.

I would hazard a guess that the first sound is a recorder/ocarina, or possibly a pan pipe, and the second is... and i'm going out on a limb here, a harmonica modulated behind the player's cupped hand to get the wah wah sound. Either that or... maybe a brass patch for a Melotron amped through a Leslie speaker?!
Also you will almost always find a copy of some kind of sergio leone film soundtrack, or a 'Greatest Western Themes', or something along those lines, at a charity shop or the asis crates at a record store over here, don't pay a tenner, pay 50p.
