trevor dane
im hoping to change into some more modern decks mainly for the pitch range but i wouldnt change if the needle would skip more on the plx
Vekked
don't get the PLXs http://djtechtools.com/2016/02/15/2016-dj-turntables-buying-guide-dmc-world-champion/

Chris
If for any reason the dmc world champion can't persuade you, my vote is also the Stanton str8-150. I have to admit the 2.5ish torque of the Vestax and the midi appeal of certain decks appeals to me, but flat out great DJ deck goes to the str8-150.

Vekked
The Reloop RP-8000 straights may be a decent option too, they changed some of my criticism from the S-arms, but I haven't gotten a chance to try them yet.If you want S-arm I would look at the Mixars one, the ST-150, RP-7000, and maybe wait to see how the Denon deck is reviewed. Flexinoodle
Has anybody ever seen the Hanpins for sale in the UK ?
Guest rasteri
Yeah for new turntables I tell people to get the RP-7000s usually, they're just like cheaper PLX1000s. I had a master list of SuperOEM turntables somewhere, if you search all of them in order you often get them dirt cheap on ebay. I'll try and find it. The pitch fader has never been accurate. When I service them I don't bother trying to get it calibrated properly because it's impossible, I just follow the service manual and measure the resistance of the pitch fader and the frequency coming out of the control chip. Tenshun
I have had my 1200s for along time. That matched up with a broken in M447 and that thing does not skip. Ill stab, scissor , hydroplane and that needle wont jump.

trevor dane
why not get the plx.. the 100% pitch range is nice.. i have a bad back (from this shit here) so gonna stay away from the stantons
Jam Burglar
I've found the M5Gs pitch settings much more accurate and consistent than the previous 1200 models. With my M3Ds, -3% on one table might be -2.5%. That's not really the case on my M5Gs. From what I remember, the pitch control on the M5Gs is digital. Deft
Flexi, I've got a spare Citronic PD-45 you can have for virtually free. If you desperately want a pair you could have both and then I'd get a Stanton STR8 to replace it.
