danswift Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 RIP Rudy Van Gelder Damn ive lost count of the amount of albums i own that have been engineered by that man in that legendary recording studio It was only a couple of days ago that I was listening to the Sunflower lp by Milt Jackson and just marvelling at the amazing clarity of that recording with Don Sebesky arranging and conducting ,Creed Taylor producing and RVG engineering the sessions and the fact that whole lp was done in just two sessions back in 1972 is mindblowing in my opinion Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
