I opened mine when I broke it and its not made very well from what I remember. There is a plate inside that is thats made of really flimsy tin like alu that just snaps off for some reason even though it make no contact with the side of the fader when cutting or juggling. This snapped on a friends too. I glued it back onto the fader carriage and it was fine once I put it back together. Also my ultra curve pot started to fuck up and I had to buy a new one and get it fixed and the guy who fixed it said the soldering on my mixer was terribly done. I bet money that this is half the reason so many people have issues with faders breaking and bleeding etc. Who else has had issues with their faders ?
Saying that I have never bought a us mixer, not sure if they would add extra import charges on top of normal shipping.
Also there is the power conversion issue to deal with.
No, its been on eBay for weeks. Seems like a good deal if its just a fader thats wanted. You also have spare parts. I was tempted myself but have to curbe my mixer addition for a while.
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233070727224 Get this, has new faders and you will be looking at paying between £130 and £180 for just a fader alone.
I really liked the concept of manhunt but it was really hard to play, the player controls were hard work. I cant believe it was banned, would be cool to get a sequel on new gen consoles.
I thought as much, see them all the time at various prices on eBay (some at around a £1000 lol) and always fancied picking one up if I see on cheap enough. Cheers for the info
Has anyone ever had one of these mixers? Always wondered if they are worth buying second hand, I remember reading that they had alps faders, do they feel nice to cut with? dig up and old thread why dont I lol
