Dude, keep practicing. If you WANT to be good, you WILL be good! It's like anything -- you have to be hungry for it, and love it. That's why I was able to reach some kind of semi-decent level, because I wanted to reach it. It's a constant learning process though, so even if you get to what you think is a reasonable skill level, there's another one to reach. Loads of practice is the only thing that gets you there.

if you line that middle picture towards the bottom of your internet browser it sort of looks like the picture was taken from behind one set of decks looking into the rest of your room. Men'al.

hey DUB look how mint that SA5 is compared to yours!

you have sandpaper hands.

lol! probably that plus a hideous amount of scratching taken place.

Dub, plus anyone else; how often do you use the optical line/phono switches for doing cuts? I reckon I use em more than most, but often cuz that's the only way that i can use the delay effects on the sa-12 with my scratching. Whilst dwelling off topic, I reckon a good feature for a mixer with stanton style phono/line switches would be to have some incorporate some kind of way to rotate them without taking the faceplace off. Makes for a totally reversable mixer then.
