Jam Burglar
I'm looking at having Bob do the Midi Note Fader mod on a TTM-56 but he's in 220 v land and I'm in the U.S. Is there a reasonably priced converter out there that will work so he can test once its done? DJ Rock Well
Definitely. You can buy cheap voltage adaptors no problem from any electric goods store, etc.
Tenshun
You can try looking for a universal wall wart which should say 110 -220 volt on it.
Guest petesasqwax
Bob knows his shit, JB - I'm sure he'd have this stuff on lock.
Jam Burglar
Bob knows his shit, JB - I'm sure he'd have this stuff on lock. He actually was saying I should check with others just to make sure because I'm not sure he's dealt with it. I noticed that a lot of these converters talk about use only with "non-electronic controlled" heating devices. I was wondering if anybody has first hand experience with a certain converter and a link.
Guest petesasqwax
Ah, ok - I would have imagined he'd done a fair bit of work for US tablists. Sometimes when I assume I make an ass out of myself
arkei
I had cheap ones which worked fine. But I used these below for my US-Gamecube and my Rane TTM-56... GNOD
Doesn't the 56 have a Switch Mode power supply that auto detects voltage? Edited January 10, 2017 by GNOD

bobkruijer
Hey, it's me I actually have done quite some work for US based guys, but have always supplied the mixer myself (and never had them ask about power conversion) or sold e.g. kits (which would be USB powered). I haven't gotten a 110v powered unit to rebuild so far, hence the question.
DJ Rock Well
Doesn't the 56 have a Switch Mode power supply that auto detects voltage? No. But I think the subsequent 56s does and some other newer models too.
