monophonic
if i remember correct with the 20XL you can remove a track that you recorded. And saved. when you save a track on the 20 its there, no way back.
x2k
Yeah I the XL has an undo function which I don't think the 20 has, also the XL has 16mins sample time whereas I think the 20 is somewhat shorter (maybe about 6mins or something). TopherEightyFive
damn. i saw a 20 at a tempting price for a local seller but i have a feeling that undo button is gonna be important.
bfresh
Yep i've got the xl and the undo/redo pedal is very handy Well worth paying the extra for the 16min sampling time  All in all a top gadget!!
arkei
Both of em still got no stereo out (bad). If you go with the RC-20 and still want to "edit" in a reduced way, you can record the first layer and save it. Once saved, you start to overdub. If suddenly you record a "bad" layer you can then always restart at layer 1 since you saved it. You may loose all other overdubbed layers, but you still got the 1st layer. I hope you get my cheesy explanation of that wanna-be "edit"-mode of the RC-20.
