Jam Burglar
I just got an account to keep up with local DJs around DC but would like to check what you all are up to too. I'm "Jam_Burglar" on there.
DJ Rock Well
'Matt RockWell' I post cool records, uncool records, breaks videos and cat and dog stuff - and before anyone judges me, the only 'likes' I've ever had from music type people I look up to have been for pet pictures! Actually, I've now patented a golden ratio algorithm for guaranteed winning on IG - usually I charge, but just for the DV crew 'record, record, record, cat, record, record, record, cat... and so on'

Jam Burglar
Nice dudes. My friend kept saying I should get an account because there's tons of dope scratchers and producers on there, said it's not all facebooky. I've never done the facebook. I have a youtube account but it seems like instagram is way more active. So yeah, 2010 has arrived and I'm up with the times now.
DJ Rock Well
I'm sure I'll eat my words one day, but at the moment it's still a bit classier than Facebook. Whatever that means?!

Dubba Dutchdj
Hit me up on djdubbadutch dudeedit: Ive added you.... going straight in on the C1 willy waving, this mans not fucking around i thought it WAS facebook? Facebook brought instagram but thats where "most" of the similarities end. It seems better for arty stuff, great for building a following of people who actually into your material output rather than random FB friend request chancers. The # thing also works great for bringing people to your profile who are in to similar shit, plus you can set up posts so it posts your instagram stuff to FB at the same time to.Instagram defo better for tuning out all the usual shite you see on social media , scrolling down my instagram feed and all I see is pics and vids of things Im in to, scratching, goat porn, sausages etc...

I suppose it's classier than FB in the way you only see the posts of the users you're following and miss out on all the threads of BS that someone else has commented on. joeClockwork
PS: I've recently got into the noble art of Twitching so expect some photos of British garden birds soon. I can sense that you're bristling with excitement already!

Alf has a C1 too and we were talking shop last Saturday about angling them to make the button pressing a little more ergonomic. So that pic was in response to one he sent me earlier.

I can sense that you're bristling with excitement already! No shit! I grew up the son of a birdwatcher and much of my childhood was consumed with such things. Now I've finally reached the age where I'm ready to go full circle, plus I walk my dog in the countryside every day and her hobbies are pretty boring (fetch the ball, fetch the ball, fetch the ball, etc). What's made it more interesting is that as a kid I always wanted to see birds of prey and these days there are far more of them actually living and breeding in this country than there were then. P.S. I'm now really hoping you weren't being sarcastic
Dubba Dutchdj
@Joe - I jus about to crack a joke that Matt will be nursing a semi at that news, but he's already gone got his full twitcher boner out now. To be fair no C1 owner needs a excuse to show off a C1, but thats a solid one

Luckily my cat's a bit past it, in terms of tearing them apart and watching them die slowly, which is nice I was being sarcastic about people being excited because I didn't expect that anyone would be. It seems I was mistaken! Superior thread derailment.

Guest It'sPhilFromThursdays
No, but he's being bullied by Brian Glover on a footy pitch later. Hey, guys, i'm not, like, a hella nut about it, but i loves me some bird spying whilst i'm out and about on my travels, too, and my folks like birdwatching, too My work is right on the edge of town and i get to see crazy loads of rad nature. I saw a stoat chasing a rabbit the other day and that isn't a dogging euphamism. And there was an actual kestrel or something hovering about last week on lunch. BOIDS!

GNOD
Instagram. I prefer it to Facebook and take it more seriously but... Its full of people who follow you, then you follow back and then they unfollow you. Its a bit of a numbers game... I play the game too: I recently unfollowed 500+ people because they dont follow me too. (And Im looking at some here!!!)
Guest It'sPhilFromThursdays
I'm not understanding the Thomas the TE ref, but i enjoy anyway. Hey, everyone Paul's just jealous cos when he tried to emulate my stoat chasing a rabbit antics at his work it was over in seconds due the space restriction in his van. Speaking of Kestrels, i remember as a young teen when my mate broke into a booze cruise bootleggers shed and stole 60 cans of Kestrel. It was terrible and only 3.4% so you had to drink more to get drunk which made it worse. Is that the Kestrel you're referring to in the TTTE clip, Dan, cos that'd defo ruin a steam train' boiler?.
