Best Mixer (Crossfader) for scratching purposes only?

Recommended Posts

porrtis, mind that the Eclers CFs have an extreme soft touch. If you're used to hammering on a heavy CF, like any typical Vestax owner, you'll have trouble getting used to the Ecler and might eventually not like it.

I sold a 56s 3 weeks after getting it for the same reason, too soft for my fader hand to the point I couldn't feel it in my fingertips.

in fact that's one of the main reasons i never got too satisfied on my vestax. everything felt heavy and sluggish and even though the Pro X Fade was definitely an improvement i couldn't get my head around the way the vestax pmc 06 always felt to me.

the rane and ecler faders were so much more appealing than any vestax CF i ever tried. i just didnt have the money for another mixer back then and was happy i could learn scratching on a solid mixer nonetheless.

thanks for adding that though. i appreciate your concerns :-)

cheers!
