Sir Dongbot
So what your saying is, literally split the track so that only the portion of the track, say 2 seconds that I need an echo on should have the effect added to it. Im sure I will get the hang of it as I start to use it more when my soundcard comes thru. Once I learn it it generally stays in my head its just getting to know the technique that I sometimes struggle with. Cheers

Sir Dongbot
How do you normalize the volume of the mix? I have a few samples which are much too high in volume.
Steve
I make sure it all sounds OK as I'm going along man. There is a normalise effect, or you could use one of the Waves Ultramaximizers.
