Oh fucking hell.

Step one: find a picture on the internet and copy its URL

Step two: click the little icon of a Polaroid on the editor and paste the URL of the image into the box

Step three: click OK

Or just type [ img ]URLOFTHEIMAGE[/ img] (without the spaces) into your post

The image will now be in your post.

Good thread though. I reckon this is good:

I picked up this beauty at work the other day.

Thanks Doppelkorn for pointing out what I should have known - feel like the kid at school who just got called out for not knowing the meaning of the new swear word he's been using all week

EDIT: bollocks to this, I'm accepting I'm a retard and giving up

Well I'm not sure how the fuck you managed that. The URL needs to be that of the image itself, not of Google saying "there might be an image here".

http://ecx.images-am...L500_AA300_.jpg

it was that ^

Step by step:

Google what you're looking for on Google Images

Click on the image you want.

A new website will appear with the image in a big window

Right click on the image and select "Copy image URL" or whatever your browser calls it

If that copied text ends in .jpeg or .png there's a good chance that it's an image

If it ends in "&w=300&h=300&ei=_t20T6zpLomr0QX6_ZD3Dw&zoom=1" it's probably not an image

Proceed from step two in my previous instructions.

Yeah your right, but when went to the actual site and copied that URL, I got the message "this extension is not supported by this community" or something like that.

And yeah, it's a truly shameful cover... I have got a couple of things I really wanted to post but I can't find images for them online. When I get home toTnight I'm gonna sort out a pic hosting account and photograph a couple of good covers
