DJ Rock Well
Yeah, but when the alternative is binning a £500 mixer, that sounds like a total bargain.
Deft
I'll take one if you're happy to make it, obviously I'll give you the money upfront so you don't need to buy parts out of your own cash. Happy to buy a couple if it makes life easier somehow.
Flexinoodle
Yeah put me down for one, this puece of shit might come back to life
Guest rasteri
OK I'm gonna do this. Price will be £65 if you're in the UK, let's say £70 if not. Let me know if it's a 110 or 220v supply you need. Paypal me on rasteri@gmail.com and include your name and address in the order. BTW it's a bit bigger than the original, but that's because I'm using a more powerful and better isolated transformer :
Deft
Aight done. Forgot to say, 220V.
Guest rasteri
Thanks man! I'll get to ordering parts when I see if anyone else wants one. EDIT : Forgot to say, if you know of anyone who might want one let them know

Deft
Also, no major rush from me. I've mentally prepared myself for the disappointment that the silly whine noise is not actually power supply related.
Guest rasteri
Parts in for the first "batch" (well, two) :
DJ Rock Well
You know with a "batch" that small, you're now technically a 'boutique manufacturer' and thus able to put an extra zero on the end of every price?
Deft
Use gold solder on mine please.
Backtrack
Awesome Andy. You are the king. Unforuntaly my adapter is not broken But...My 4 pole connector is a little sad. Got a partnumber for that one?Does anyone got that SPDIF connector option? Not that I need it but it would be fun to clone.
Guest rasteri
But...My 4 pole connector is a little sad. Got a partnumber for that one? Well I've found them under the name "GX16-4" but only on ebay/aliexpress. I can't find anything equivalent through the usual suppliers (digikey, mouser). I think they might be an aviation/military connector.
DJ Rock Well
SPDIF connection? Not even heard of it.
Deft
SPDIF connection? Not even heard of it. You could buy it as an add-on board. I estimate the volume sold to be a big fat 0, but I could be wrong.

DJ Rock Well
I'm not sure why I blanked this from my mind, it's even clearly pointed out in the review of all Scratchbox reviews http://www.skratchworx.com/reviews/scratchbox.php
Deft
What cunt wrote that review. 11 years ago sweet Jesus.I wonder how many Scratchboxes even exist. 1000?
Flexinoodle
SPDIF is a digital connection, they offered an input and output board £110at the time, probably pretty rare though. Crap the page hadnt updated, i was replying way back messages, sorry !

Guest rasteri
Edit: Found the info in the scratchworx review. Yeah I think profaders are basically just the same as vestax PCV faders - they're certainly all made by TKD.
DJ Rock Well
I always wondered if the upfaders (or all three four pin ports) were the same spec as PCVs and Pro X faders, etc. No actually reason to know, just curiousity. Henrik - it sounds like an easy fix, but if it turns out not to be, let me know and I might be able to help out. I have amassed a few spares over the years.
