Jon
Yo! Here's a new routine I've made using Matchsticks by Stray. On a nerdy tip: I wanted to try to make something different from what I've done previously with this and limit myself to just using cue points and one physical deck and make a melodic beat juggle of sorts, expanding on how I've approached trick mixing and performing with one physical deck over the years. Also - a big shout out to Muzzell whose recent routines have been massively inspiring to me in terms of exploring where I can take my own stuff using one turntable. https://www.facebook.com/DJJon1st/videos/1629182457102987/

djdiggla
Dude> That's fucking dope! EDIT: Side note, do you like those Qbert needles better than Sures?
Jon
thanks all @ Dirk - I found that Shure's new needles weren't lasting as long as they used to. Has anyone else had that problem? Ortofon offered to sponsor me, so I thought I'd give them a go. No complaints yet!

No complaints yet! the qbert's seem similar to the Electro's - they need some use first to break em in cos they sound quite harsh and distorted straight out of the box. i thought i had a duff one and i tried just playing a run-out groove all night i tihnk.... to wear it in a bit.
