  1. Kevin and Perry doesn't seem to be about turntablism.
  2. I'd rather listen to the recorded audio while recording. How can I scratch without any sound. I can record with my headphones on as well. Symatic. Here's my equipment: Reloop 7000 Hak 360 Vestax pmc 06 Laptop with in buit microphone and only one 3.5mm input.
  3. Damn! I really need a motivation guys and I'm certain that there are some scratch heads who need that too. Let's complete a list of all the DJ/scratch related movies out there so we can pin point it somewhere for visitors and members. This is everything I can remember. Scratch (2001) Wave Twisters The Shiggar Fraggar Show vol 1-5 (Yeah, I know these are records but I don't know how many of them were filmed.) Turntable TV Episodes from 1-6(7) For intellectual dummies Scratchcon 2000 Ned hoddings - A night at the knitting factory Turntable Mechanic Workshop 1997 by the Invisibl Skratch Piklz Turntable wizardy Stage 1 Dj Supreme Presents The Turntable Trixters Bastard Language Tour DVDScratch Perverts Turntable Tutorial 1&2 X-ecutioners Bult to scratch & X-men on WNYU (1995) X-Ecutioners (X-Men) X-Ercise Vol. 1A - Trak Sunglasses is a must Shure Turntablism 101 (2000) (This is a very rare tape. Dj Domination - World Domination Nasze polskie perełki DJ SUPER CUTS 1&2 I didn't include DJ battles and championships cuz I dunno If they count. Do battles and tournaments count? Help guys.
  4. What's up people! I know that this seems to be a ridiculous question but, how can I record my scratches? I'm not a real DJ, don't do gigs and I don't juggle. Scratching is my only cup of tea. I don't have Tractor or serato. Do I have to buy an external sound card? so the sound from my mixer goes directly into my computer not through the speakers instead.
  5. I'm not saying that I'm not fast, because I am defenitely fast I guess. Well, it's one more time my impatience as you know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jw0WqAdZMi8 My freestyle recorded almost a half a year ago. Now I'm even faster and more creative, but it's nothing in comparison with Flare.
  6. What's up? does anybody know how dj flare was doing such crazy fast stabs and transforms? Basically, all of the scratches are done at an extreme high speed. I can't get it. No human can attain such speed. Are the scratches accelerated artificially? on "The magnifying glass" he does the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFOzNOPnUiU
  7. Dj-mC cash money&marvelous. MC-MC Outcast ?
  8. Yo, I've just returned from my let's call it "every year break" cuz every year from june to september I'm away from home working and can't practice. Really, last year I was afraid. Yesterday I sat to the TT, today I recalled all the techniques. Symatic, see you soon on the Tinychat.com Gotta kick your ass
  9. That's the biggest absurd I've ever heard. I've listented to rap all my life and it has never affected me in any negative way. Well, maybe I back in the days I wanted be like snoop and dre and I smoked tones of sticky green substance. But now it's over. Btw I can't understand why people ascribe different music genres wierd features. Music is Music it should not be ever treated as the way of our lives but as an addition to it. Just like tea. It does not matter if it is green tea, yellow tea, or fucking PG which you drink before, during and after work.
  10. Holy Shit Flare's Magnifrying Glass is something that I have never heard in my life. This dude had skills... This J. coley scratch at the begining is waaaaay more crazy than all j. coleys I've heard.
  11. Hey, What's up. Guys do you know where do these two short clips of Dj flare scratching come from? https://youtu.be/tvBDp_0Em5c?t=2h28s and one thing, do you know any other videos of DJ flare? apart from his performance at the Scratchcon 2000 and his little episode in TT TV ?
  12. When I drop the sound I always have a habbit or puling the fader to the other band to cut out the beat. That's a bad habbit. I do it too often
  13. I understand all this fuss about anti-wobbling tables but this guy is just making such a big deal of it. Got my turntables on a plain wooden table and the needle skips rather seldom. Mr Scruff or whatever he is called is a bit oversenetive I'd say.
  14. Yeah, everthing's been said. You're dope. It's good to have a scratch partner. You can learn a lot from each other and share cool ideas. i progress slowly cuz I'm cutting only in my bedroom. Very seldom there is any scratch session near the place where I live
