Phology
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fringerider/apocalypse-now-the-game Francis Ford Coppola and his American Zoetrope studio are known for making films for close to 50 years, but now they want to try their luck in video games. The studio has announced that they are teaming up with an impressive team of game industry veterans to turn the classic Apocalypse Now film into a crowdfunded psychological horror RPG. We're talking notable people who worked on Battlefield, Far Cry, Fallout: New Vegas, Gears of War, The Witcher, Wasteland 2, and other well-known games, so they seem to have found a talented team of developers here. http://www.gamereactor.eu/news/500643/Apocalypse+Now+-+The+Game+turns+to+Kickstarter/?rs=rss&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Phology
It sounds like a totally random and bizarre thing to produce but it it could be amazing, especially looking at who's involved. However most movie-to-game titles suck balls.
danswift
Apparently there were so many delays in the filming of the original movie because Brando hated Dennis Hopper so much and flatly refused to film any scenes with him that the crew dubbed it 'Apocalypse Later'
