danswift
Weird seeing those on CD (especially Secret Life of Plants)! The digital remasters of his classic 1970s lp's sound really nice JB ! I don't play these cd's very much at all so I thought I'd dust them off and give em' a listen for a change Everyone I know who's into Stevie seems to choose lp's such as Songs In The Key Of Life or Innervisions as the one's they like most of all but I actually love his early material best, the 'For Once In My Life' album is fucking brilliant, no one can ever knock that record in my opinion. Stevie's the man !

Stevie's the man ! Word. I still buy em, CDs have gotten crazy cheap these days. I'm just a little surprised some of those were even issued on disc. Songs in the Key of Life, yes, but Secret Life of Plants is something I never expected to see on CD.

danswift
Been listening to the new Lee Fields & The Expressions lp 'It Rains Love' on Big Crown Records over the last few days..lovely stuff!.. And i also got the 'Second To None' album by the U.K. Soul band HardKandy which I think is pretty dope although I admittedly know absolutely nothing about them whatsoever! .The record was released in S2008 but I've never come across it before..theres some cool Curtis Mayfield style vibes on display here.Link for the full lp.
