iexist
Any insight or steps of preparation I should take to avoid damaging a turntable when I ship it out? Remove platter? Remove tone arm?
Chris
I've kept the box for most of my decks and repackaged, but when not I've left the platter on, locked the tonearm, and bubble wrapped and air bubbled it to within an inch of its life so there's no chance of the tonearm getting any inertia. Might not be great for the spindle though...
Chris
Oh and masking taped over the platter around the deck
iexist
Bubble wrap sounds like a great idea. Is it best to remove the platter as well as the tone arm?
