Steve
To get it, just go to the Google Play homepage and click on the ad that says "Get 4 Months of Music on Us". That gives you the 4 free months, but it also signs you up to the service with a billing date of June 2018, but as long as you cancel before then you won't be charged. You can cancel here: - https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions Even if you sign up and then immediately cancel, which I did, you still get the 4 free months.
JHouse
Can you download .wavs or 320k MP3's, or is it simply streaming? BTW, thanks for the heads up on the deal.
Steve
I'm pretty sure it's just streaming only mate.
Chris
This is a real good tactic by the streaming services, I get 6 months Apple Music with ee I think - if they give you long enough to really get into it, save albums, playlists etc, then youre much less likely to switch. I gusss theyll always get cancellers but theyre probably hoping people will have Seen the light by then. I think some kind of rent to own thing would be good on streaming servies, where if you play something enough as a proportion of your subscription youve essentially bought it. It would be a great confidence builder for the last guard of purchasers, and most people would never actually own anything because they listen to so much new stuff. To be honest its probably not important.
