  1. Yo yo! I put all mine into a Bandcamp album which is here - https://phology.bandcamp.com/album/digital-vertigo-beat-battle-sample-challenge Are the beat battles still a thing? I would be down for getting involved again! Hope you guys are all good 🙌
  2. yo hows it goin! yeah just thought i'd stop by the neighbourhood
  3. PC - 1TB SSD (C:) 4TB HDD (D:). My desktop is mainly used for gaming/editing/music production. I should have a backup plan for this but haven't gotten around to it yet. Now...I torrent like a mf, so my entire movie collection is stored on an 8TB drive for the main library, and a 4TB backup drive (need to expand this soon). I also have another drive that also served as a backup but I recently turned that one into a seperate library for TV shows. I'd love to have cloud backup of EVERYTHING but not found a suitable solution yet.
  4. Thanks man! Yeah I've had a busy couple of years (life stuff) so took some needed time off from the internet. I'm still making beats and down to get involved in the Beat Battle again!!!!
  5. Hey fellow DV'ers! Long time no see hope everyone's doing ok! The video for Rappcats has always been a favourite of mine, and I've always wished Stones Throw would make one for Jazz Cats, but nothing was ever released. So I took it upon myself to make my own, hope you like it!
  6. Those are on my Amazon wish list. Plus I can't wait to re-play The Last of Us remastered edition.
  7. I promised myself I'd wait for January sales or whatever, but....fuck it, Christmas present for myself! Got a good deal anyway. All of the deals and bundles on Argos, Game, Amazon etc...all looked shit so got one from Tesco. Used some Clubcard points I didn't know I had and got like £50 off. Bundle comes with Fifa 18, and Hidden Agenda (kinda LA Noire detective game). Plus they emailed me today that since I bought GTA 5 with it I get a free $1.25M Whale Shark card for free which aint bad I guess. Haven't got a 4K TV yet but probs will buy one and PSVR at some point (when I win the lottery). Boom! Who's down for some online (gaming) action?!
  8. (Hi everyone!!) Dope entries for this battle, I voted for Dan - always bringing that tight cinematic vibe. Merry X-Mas y'all!
  9. Nasa's Juno probe captures dramatic first close-up images of Jupiter https://www.theguardian.com/science/2017/may/25/nasas-juno-probe-captures-dramatic-first-close-up-images-of-jupiter The first close-up observations from Nasa’s Juno spacecraft have captured towering clouds, swirling cyclones and dramatic flows of ammonia that drive giant weather systems on the largest planet in the solar system.
  10. Confidence is a big factor as well. When I first started out I had terrible stage fright, but the more and more you practice and play gigs you get to meet loads of people and overcome all of that. Plus your skills will improve, you'll know what tracks to play to get people into your set. As for social media, I hate Facebook but I guess if you're advertising yourself as an artist it helps to have a profile on all platforms. Mixcloud is great, I prefer it to Soundcloud. Talk to your local venues and maybe give them a mix CD or a link to a mix online so they can hear you before deciding to book you. And make sure to follow them on social media.
  11. that's assuming that everyone has the funk to begin with
