Hi ppl, just started using Conductr software on my iPad after having it recomended in the Traktor group on Facebook. It's not half bad, i've been looking for a way to manage and use FX section 3 & 4. I've bought a Maschine Mikro, and reloop neon with a hope of midi mapping these things for my desired use. Not been successful in mapping either and was thinking of selling them until i came across this software. There is a charge of £7.99 to unlock everything but can be used in demo mode for like 20 mins. Even if you already have full Traktor the £7.99 would need to paid to unlock. This software can also be used with Abelton as well and has saved me some money as it works pretty god damn well. very intuitive and very easy to get the desired results. I really couldn't recommend it more, the only thing i'm unsure about is if you can manage your remix decks on it. My thinking is that you can but I only need it for FX 3 & FX 4. https://www.conductr.net/ Check it out, let us know your thoughts and anything else you learn.

owning a SL2 and also Traktor through my Z2. I have a resonable understanding of both. In the 3 years i've had and used Serato. I've had no issues other than relating to my needles or my cables from my decks. Both are to do with external equipment and once fixed worked perfectly. I've had Traktor since October and it's been a learning curve. Traktor is more sensitive and if there is some issue with your deck it will pick it up straight away.. I like both! Traktor though, when you get it rights is great but you do have to work soemtimes to get it to work as you want. you'll be able to get your scratch on, on both of them i'm sure. There both quality. I did intially think Serato was best for scratching/juggling, but after prolonged use of Traktor I actually think its better for scratching and Serato because of the bigger waveform is better for juggling. Fx are better on Traktor but i also find the cues and cue play more accurate on serato. Serato you can set a cue point and pretty much press it in time. Traktor you need to set the cue more accurate to get the same result. last one. serato is very easy to map, traktor is like hell to map. My ten pence worth.

you don't have Z-Trip hip hop takedown mix from last year amongst that list. I don't require a trade but i have it if you want it?

depends on budget. if money no object get the 62, if it is go for the z2. Z2 is a decent mixer. you can midi map it when not using trakor, you have cue buttons on the faceplate amonst many other functions. the 62 is built better but cost alot more. 57 is a top mixer as well but has now been discontinued and is now out of date as mentioned previously. keep us informed and we'll help with any questions.

also scratch vocals, scratching stuff like arggh and fresh can get boring very quick.

@ericuk - Yea boy that it. You nailed it at 1.22. I will have a closer look at this when i get home, but thanks. Looks basic enough and shouldn't be that hard to learn. Thanks again for taking the time to do the video. Ps: i saw that bit of showing off at the end.
