danswift
Ha-I can remember watching that Bootsy clip many years ago..theres also another vid of him explaining the Funk where hes asking whoever is interviewing him if they can 'smell the pussy' while hes playing his Star Bass..very funny -i'll see if I can find it on Youtube and post it at some point. Rob- if you like Victor Wooten, check out the 'Bass Day 98' DVD..its about an hour in length but worth watching just for the way he talks about his love of creating music .nevermind the awesome level of musicianship on display.https://youtu.be/XoOIA4FXZYo V.W. using a loop pedal to create the parts for his version of 'A Night In Tunisia' by Dizzy Gillespie. Wootens band, Vital Tech Tones with Steve Smith and Scott Henderson are also worth checking out and especially the VTT 2 lp which is excellent ( in a self indulgent 'look at me, im brilliant ' kind of fashion hehe)but immensely enjoyable nonetheless.
