Steve
This is a pretty cool site for DJs or anyone that wants to check out current new dance music, hip-hop etc. There are 24 genre buttons on the main page. Select the genre you want, then the site will create a playlist based on the current top 100 charts on Beatport, Traxsource and Juno. It will try and find a YouTube video whenever possible, but sometimes it will play the track from SoundCloud instead. http://remixrotation.com

Steve
It actuaally any good? The site works great, so I guess it comes down to how much you care about what people are buying on Beatport, Traxsource and Juno.

Jon
cheers for sharing Steve just had a little look. for some genres it's pretty sick, but they could do with some more refined genre/subgenre playlists, e.g. their decision to put r&b, hip hop and funk together isn't very useful for people wanting to hear just one of those genres. remixrotation
@Je suis Charlie: thanks a lot! hi. i made http://remixrotation.com because i buy all the downloads for my djing (hobby) and was tired of listening to countless crap previews to find just a few good tracks. there are 27 genres now, and about 12,500 tracks that have been PAID / downloaded the most, during the past 31 days. in other words, other DJs are "voting" for these tracks with their wallets and are filtering out crap for you! You should have a greater percentage of quality tracks in one place. it does not replace your own digging, but you should be able to find additional tracks that you like, more quickly. the site is updated every day, and new tracks are added on top of their genres to make it easier to see what is new each day. the music you will hear are the videos from YouTube that correspond to these tracks -- so you are hearing full-length tracks instead of the short previews; & you can just let them play as playlist. if you visit from your laptop/desktop, you will load the version that is optimized for DJs. here is an article that explains why/what/how https://medium.com/p/remixrotation-com-is-a-free-tool-for-electronic-music-djs-2313f5e50ca0 you can see all this in action on the page for Techno http://remixrotation.com/charts/techno.html Edited May 28, 2017 by remixrotation
