dextrous
I don't know if this is old news but I've just noticed that Barclays is offering the full Kaspersky suite for free to all of it's online customers. Gizmo
Kaspersky products are only available for Windows PCs. Obviously.
dextrous
I wonder why sites like this exist? http://www.securemac.com/ Anyway I'm still on the divide between mac and PC, I've currently got both, but this is great for anyone with barclays that has a PC. It's just saved me £50 anyway.
Steve
The Kaspersky suite also includes a firewall, which is something Mac users could do with really. The Mac OS X Leopard firewall failed every test. It is not activated by default and, even when activated, it does not behave as expected. Network connections to non-authorised services can still be established and even under the most restrictive setting, "Block all incoming connections," it allows access to system services from the internet. Although the problems and peculiarities described here are not security vulnerabilities in the sense that they can be exploited to break into a Mac, Apple would be well advised to sort them out pronto.http://www.heise-online.co.uk/security/A-s.../features/98120
